Four professionals from the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) have been inducted into the Board of Fellows of the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMI).

The institute stated that these professionals have demonstrated expertise, leadership, and a steadfast commitment to promoting risk management in the country, and they were awarded the Fellow Chartered Risk Manager (FCRM) title.

During the induction, Ezekiel Oseni, president and chairman of the Governing Council of CRMI, commended the recipients for their consistent support of the institute’s mission.

Oseni stated that “These four distinguished professionals, along with the NDIC, have been foundational to CRMI’s progress,” and added that “Their dedication to risk education and best practices has earned NDIC the recognition of being the Best Institution in Capacity Building in Risk Management for several consecutive years.

Umaru Ibrahim, in his response, praised the efforts of CRMI to make risk management more professional in both the public and private sectors.

He called on the institute to apply its expertise to national reforms, especially the current effort to improve corporate governance structures in the civil service.
