BPP starts offering North-West and North-East procurement rule training.

In Nigeria’s North-West and North-East regions, the Bureau of Public Procurement has started offering training on its recently updated Standard Procurement Documents.

Zira Nagga, Head of Public Relations at BPP, Abuja, revealed this in a statement on Tuesday.

According to Nagga, the training is in line with one of the bureau’s primary responsibilities as outlined in Section 5(m) of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007.

In order to guarantee that procurement stakeholders are fully aware of the most recent adjustments and are able to implement them successfully in the procurement process, he mentioned that the bureau had reviewed and updated the Standard Procurement Documents.

Accordingly, the BPP has organized a three-day physical training program in the country’s North-West and North-East areas in partnership with the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption Program.

“The training will be held at the Tahir Guest Palace in Kano, Kano State, from May 19 to May 21.”

The training is intended for SUBEB procurement officers, state-owned universities, contractors, consultants, and service providers, as well as BPP-certified procurement officers in Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, Nagga continued.
