Holders D’Tigress of Nigeria have been drawn in Group D of the 2025 Women’s AfroBasket Championship with Mozambique and Rwanda.
Rena Wakama’s side will be looking to extend their reign by winning the title for a record seventh time at Cote d’Ivoire 2025.
D’Tigress had a memorable outing at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris where they made it to the quarter-finals.
Building on their remarkable performance at the AfroBasket Championship would be anticipated of them.
The Cote d’Ivoire hosts will compete against the strong teams of Angola and Egypt in Group A.
Mali, Cameroon, and South Sudan will compete fiercely in Group B, whereas Senegal, Uganda, and Guinea will clash in Group C.
From 26 July to 3 August, the AfroBasket 2025 will take place.
The Palais des Sports de Treichville will host all the matches.
