AGF Gives SANS Discipline Tasks

Senior Advocates of Nigeria have been asked by Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, to preserve and advance ethics in the legal profession. He stated that they must behave in a way that upholds the rank’s dignity, nobility, and respect because they are its privileged caretakers.The minister also advised junior attorneys not to treat members of the inner bar (SANs) disrespectfully, stating that those who are granted the rank must be treated with the highest regard and be worthy of their high status. At the dinner hosted by the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) on Saturday to celebrate the rank’s 50th anniversary, Fagbemi gave a speech in Lagos.He serves as BOSAN’s chairman. 134 graduates of the BOSAN Induction Program, comprising the 2024 group of 87 SANs and the 2025 group of 57 SANs, were formally welcomed into the Body during the event.
