The All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors, concluding a two-day meeting of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) in Birnin Kebbi, have appealed to the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to resolve its disputes with the Federal Government through dialogue. Reading the communiqué, PGF Chairman and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, emphasized that negotiation is the most effective way to address education sector disagreements and urged the lecturers to return to the table for the sake of the nation’s education system. The governors also deliberated on improving coordination across federal, state, and local governments, which they view as essential for inclusive development.
