Retired employees of Shell Nigeria recently gathered for a reunion at the fourth annual golf event sponsored in their honour by Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo) at the Lakowe Golf Course, Lekki, Lagos. In a celebration of friendship, health, and long-lasting professional ties, 47 former Shell employees competed in the tournament alongside members of SNEPCo’s leadership.Ehis Uzenabor, Managing Director of the Shell Closed Pension Fund, participated in the ceremonial tee-off with a number of former Shell executives, including Simbi Wabote, former Shell Director and immediate past Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Jimmy Ahmed, former Business and Government Director, and Egbert Imomoh, former Deputy Managing Director of SPDC.With an outstanding net score of 63 (-9), Dr. Okuns Ohiosimuan emerged as the Overall Male Winner despite having a handicap of 35.With a handicap of 31 and a net score of 77 (+5), Justina Dibua won the title of Overall Female Winner in the women’s division. Ron gave out the prizes. The male and female runner-up prizes went to Claude Esekody and Kate Iyamu respectively, with awards presented by Mutiu Sunmonu, former Managing Director of SPDC and Country Chair, Shell Companies in Nigeria.
