One person was shot after armed bandits attacked Baidi village in the Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State. According to a post shared on X by security analyst Bakatsine, the incident occurred on Sunday night during the Isha prayer. The gunmen entered the community, which is located about three kilometers from Tangaza town, shot a resident, and looted several shops and a phone-charging center. The attack caused residents to flee their homes due to fears that the assailants might return. As of the time of the report, security authorities had not issued an official statement regarding the event.
