After 13 years at Hoffenheim, a Bundesliga team, Nigerian defender Kevin Akpoguma will depart at the end of the current campaign, according to the DAILY POST.
In 2013, Akpoguma left Karlsruher SC to join Hoffenheim.
Before becoming a vital member of the team, the center-back played on loan at Hannover 96 and Fortuna Mün.
This season, the 31-year-old has only made eight appearances for Hoffenheim.
Die Kraichgauer is unwilling to extend Akpoguma’s contract, which expires at the end of the current campaign.
This weekend, Hoffenheim will welcome SV Werder Bremen at the PreZero Arena, marking the former Germany youth international’s final home game.
