Cement from Dangote gives power to businesswomen in Benue

In a bid to enhance women’s entrepreneurship, Dangote Cement Plc has provided cash grants to businesswomen in the host communities of Benue State.

Months after Dangote Cement in Gboko raised bursary payments for students from host communities by over 100%, the women empowerment programme was launched.

The financial support aims to boost local enterprise development at the grassroots level, empowering female business owners with capital to scale their operations. Each beneficiary will use the funds to address specific business needs, from purchasing inventory to upgrading equipment, creating a tangible economic impact in their communities.”
