The Commissioner of Police for the Abia State Command, Danladi Isa, affirmed that the Command will sustain its collaboration with the Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) by providing both security and institutional support within the State.
The Commissioner made this declaration on Wednesday during a visit by the Controller of Corrections, Abia State Command, C C Nwanyanwu B.I., and her accompanying team at the Command Headquarters in Umuahia.
He stated that his office remains accessible for sustained cooperation.
Earlier in her address, Controller Nwanyanwu expressed gratitude for the Command’s assistance in securing correctional facilities during the recent “Free Nnamdi Kanu” protest. She further advocated for the continuity of the partnership between the two Federal agencies.
