As he gets ready to make his comeback from a protracted injury absence this week in Britain’s Davis Cup qualifier against Norway in Oslo, Jack Draper maintains that he is “still improving.” Since retiring from the US Open in August of last year due to an arm injury sustained during his first-round match, the 24-year-old has not participated.Before the injury, Draper had the best year of his career in 2025, winning the Indian Wells championship and rising to fourth in the global rankings. On Thursday, he makes his comeback against a Norway team that might contain Casper Ruud, the three-time Grand Slam runner-up.
