Drivers are advised by the FRSC to observe traffic laws during Easter celebrations.

In order to stay alive during the Easter celebration, drivers are reminded to follow traffic laws and regulations by the Federal Road Safety Corps, Ogun Sector Command.

In an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday in Ota, Ogun, Mr. Memee Timothy, the Ifo Unit Commander of FRSC, provided the guidance.

“During Easter, motorists should abstain from actions that could cause needless deaths, such as speeding, improper overtaking, and driving against traffic.

“To reduce traffic accidents, they should also refrain from overloading and driving while intoxicated,” Timothy stated.He revealed that throughout the celebration, Corps soldiers would be stationed to monitor and manage traffic and respond to accidents and broken-down vehicles.

In order to apprehend individuals who are overloading and operating a vehicle without a driver’s license, our guys will also be stationed at key locations and road construction sites.

“To make Easter a hitch-free celebration, we are also urging drivers to work with FRSC staff and other sister agencies,” he added.

Timothy restated the FRSC’s dedication to guaranteeing the safe arrival of drivers and other road users at their varied locations.
