Legendary Manchester United player Gary Neville has recommended that his former team consider trading midfielder Mason Mount this summer, but only if they can find a player who can play both upfront and in the middle.
Following Man United’s 3-2 victory over Liverpool on Sunday, Neville outlined his top four summer transfer targets.
Neville stated on his Sky Sports podcast, “I believe United needs a left-back for next season because Luke Shaw has played every game this year and he may struggle.”
They absolutely need two midfielders and a center back. For me, those are my top four priorities.
“Look, I would suggest going for a fifth if you could sort of swap Mason Mount for someone who can play in and out and be a little more flexible throughout the midfield and front line after that.
