Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, supported President Bola Tinubu on Monday for a second term.
Additionally, Fayose supported Ekiti State Governor Abayomi Oyebanji for a second term.
He gave a speech during Oyebanji’s second-term campaign rally in Ado Ekiti.
According to Fayose, this is the first time that every past governor in the state would support the current governor.
“I hereby publicly endorse President Bola Tinubu for a second term without reservation,” he declared.
Additionally, I support Abayomi Oyebanji, our governor, and his deputy for a second term. Congratulations, Your Excellency.
“Let me state that this meeting is special because it is the first time that I, along with all of the previous governors of this state, former leaders, and members of the National Assembly, have unanimously endorsed a governor.”
