As reported by DAILY POST, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles have commenced preparations for the WAFU B U-20 Nations Cup.
The squad selected by head coach Aliyu Zubairu includes most of the players who took part in the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The competition will be part of the Flying Eagles’ preparations for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Zubairu’s team is placed in Group A alongside the host nation Ghana and the Benin Republic.
On Thursday, July 10, the Flying Eagles will take on Ghana in their first match.
Three days later, they will encounter the Benin Republic in their second group match.
Group B consists of Niger Republic, Togo, Ivory Coast, and Burkina Faso
