Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has named Benibo Anabraba as the new Secretary to the State Government, SSG.
Before this appointment, Anabraba served as the Commissioner for Lands and Survey under Fubara.
He held the commissioner position prior to the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.
Six months ago, President Bola Tinubu imposed emergency rule in Rivers State, suspending Fubara and the entire State House of Assembly.
The President also appointed Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas as Sole Administrator to oversee the state.
After the emergency period ended, Tinubu ordered Fubara’s reinstatement.
