Ahead of the eagerly awaited Second Session of the Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue Mechanism, or SDM, Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, his wife Maria Lúcia Alckmin, and other individuals have arrived in Nigeria.
Early on Tuesday morning, the Brazilian delegation was welcomed to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport’s Presidential Wing.
Ibrahim Hadejia, the Deputy Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, two other ministers, and representatives of the Nigerian government received them.
Speaking at the airport reception, Senator Hadejia called the visit “a pivotal moment,” particularly in light of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He emphasized how strategically significant it is for Nigeria to strengthen its relationship with Brazil.
The Nigerian government declared last week that it was prepared to host the second Nigeria-Brazil Strategic Dialogue this week, as the DAILY POST remembers.
