According to the DAILY POST, Kelechi Iheanacho is ecstatic after assisting Celtic in earning a spot in the Scottish Cup final.
The Nigerian international scored twice in extra time after coming off the bench as Celtic defeated St Mirren 6-2.
Iheanacho has now scored six goals for the Hoops this season in all competitions.
St. Mirren overcame two leads from Celtic to force extra time.
But Iheanacho was the key to the Celts’ decisive triumph.
“It’s difficult for me to express how I feel right now. I’m overjoyed. The 29-year-old told Celtic TV, “Obviously, there was a little bit of panic when they got the goals in the second half.”
On Saturday, May 23, Celtic will play Dunfermline Athletic in the championship game.
