Oba Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, has declared that he is no longer a politician. Ladoja stated that since he is now the Olubadan of Ibadanland, he has finally given up politics.
The claim was made by Ladoja, a former governor of Oyo State, on Tuesday during a courtesy call by former Senate President Iyorcha Ayu, former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, and other prominent figures.
Ladoja, who hosted the dignitaries at his palace in Ibadan, reminisced about his enjoyable times with Atiku and other national politicians during his active political career, adding that he resigned due to his new position.
However, the new Olubadan declared, “I am no longer one of you,” and pledged to use his position to advance justice and equity during his rule. I’m no longer a politician. Greetings from my home.
