Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has disclosed that the federal government may pursue Dana Air’s assets in order to reimburse passengers, airline travel brokers, and other debts that the airline owes. He further stated that the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) will be instructed by his office to look into the reasons behind the airline’s failure to return the monies. Keyamo said that the government halted the airline’s operations as a safety precaution during the ministry’s fourth quarter stakeholder engagement in Abuja on Tuesday. Recall that the NCAA suspended Dana Air’s operations in April 2024. Since then, numerous passengers and agents who had outstanding reservations with the airline have not received their money back.
