IVD, a well-known car dealer in Lagos, has hired Blessing CEO, a contentious self-described relationship guru.
IVD was seen on his knees proposing to Blessing CEO in the social media video that went viral.
“Yes, Yes, Yes,” she replied, “I will marry you, Ikechukwu Darry Ogbonna.”
state that the suggestion was made just three years after IVD’s wife, Bimbo Ogbonna, passed away from injuries she suffered in a violent home fire.
Bimbo’s family responded to the contentious event by accusing IVD of long-term abuse.
The CEO of Blessing, who claimed to be IVD’s relationship therapist, defended IVD by saying that the late Bimbo was violent and a suicide victim.
In March 2023, the Lagos State Federal High Court remanded Blessing CEO because to her involvement in the case involving IVD and the late Bimbo Ogbonna.
Social media was enraged by IVD’s response to Bimbo’s passing and Blessing CEO’s involvement, with many people criticizing both of them.
