In response to an outdated tidbit of information about her previous personal relationship with the late gospel musician Sammie Okposo, Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has lambasted the troll.
According to Naija News, Kate Henshaw said in the post’s headline—which is taken from an old interview—that Sammie Okposo used to brutally beat her when they were together.
In the early 2000s, the thespian and Okposo dated for roughly three to four years. Many believed that their love would lead to marriage, but they ended it.
Kate Henshaw was asked by the troll why she became “bitter and husbandless.”
According to the message, “Aunty Kate, I heard someone remark that you’re simply a bitter old ‘agbaya’ woman since you’ve been “husbandless’ after being left down by men too many times.” Is that accurate?
The movie star responded by acknowledging that it did happen, but it only improved her and did not make her resentful.
“Aww, I am still here, though,” she wrote. I’d better not be angry about these things. The same cannot be said for the women in your family. I saw one at farmcity the other night.
