The Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, has confirmed his presence at the launch of the book ‘100 Years of Civil Aviation In Nigeria: History, Issues and Prospects,’ scheduled for Friday, May 23, 2025, in Lagos.
This was revealed in a statement in Lagos by Mr. Wole Shadare, who is the aviation editor at New Telegraph Newspaper and the author of the book.
He also mentioned that other notable figures joining the minister at the event include Capt. Chris Najomo, the director-general of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Mrs. Olubunmi Kuku, Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engr. Umar Farouk, Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Dr. Harold Demuren, a former NCAA director-general, Dr. Wale Babalaqkin (SAN), Chairman of Resort Group, Dr. Gabriel Olowo, a former President of the Aviation Safety Round Table (ART), Mr. Debo Adesina, a former Nigerian Ambassador to Togo, and several others.
