According to PUNCH Sports Extra, Victor Osimhen and his former Napoli teammate Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are tied for the most Man of the Match honors this season in the UEFA Champions League, with four apiece.
As Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal FC get ready to play in the final on May 30 in Budapest, Osimhen continues to be one of the competition’s best players despite Galatasaray’s elimination by Liverpool FC in the round of 16.
On September 30, 2025, Osimhen’s penalty proved to be the game-winning goal in Galatasaray’s 1-0 victory over Liverpool at RAMS Park, earning him his first Man of the Match award.
On October 22, 2025, he won his second award in a 3-1 victory over Bodø/Glimt, which increased Galatasaray’s chances of qualifying. Kvaratskhelia still has the chance to surpass his former comrade now that the finalists have been announced, and Declan Rice, who has three awards, might still tie the score.
