La Liga: Arbeloa responds to Mbappé’s fourth striker accusation, saying, “I don’t care what your name is.”

Kylian Mbappé and his teammates have been told by Real Madrid boss Álvaro Arbeloa that he chooses who plays on the team rather than paying attention to their names.

In reaction to Mbappé’s claim that the Spanish manager had ranked him fourth among the team’s strikers, this statement was released.

After Real Madrid defeated Real Oviedo 2-0 in La Liga on Thursday night, Mbappé told the media that Arbeloa had put him behind Vinicius Junior, Gonzalo, and Mastantuono.

Arbeloa, however, denied any such assertion, stating that Mbappé must have misunderstood him and making it clear that he does not have four strikers at Real Madrid.

“I wish I had four attackers,” he said to reporters following the game. I didn’t say anything like that to Mbappé, and I don’t have four attackers. I’m sure he didn’t get me.

“I have never informed Mbappé that he is our fourth striker. Maybe he didn’t understand. I’ve never said that.

“As long as I hold this position, I am the one who determines who plays and who does not,” he continued.

“I don’t care about their names. It’s okay if they are happy; if not, they might wait for another chance.
