At its recently opened branch in Lagos, Wellington College International is now the first private school with a standard-size rugby pitch and a 50-meter swimming pool. A 400-meter track and field pitch, multipurpose outdoor sport courts, and an indoor sports complex are all located on the 12.5-hectare campus. Paresh Thakrar, Managing Director of Wellington College International, spoke at the launch and emphasized the need of investing in sports as a crucial precondition for achieving economic success.
