Cross River Governor Bassey Otu has awarded Super Falcons defender Miracle Usani N50 million and a piece of land. Usani was also named the sports ambassador for Cross River State. At a reception hosted in the player’s honor at his Calabar office, Otu made the announcement. This summer in Morocco, the 18-year-old was a member of the Super Falcons team that won the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations championship. During the competition, the left-back played just once for the Super Falcons. With Justine Madugu’s support, it was her maiden championship.
