Anthony Elanga, a winger for Sweden, has agreed to a £55 million price with Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest.
According to reports, the sale might be finalized this week.After finishing fifth in the Premier League the previous season, Newcastle is looking to bolster its attacking options as they get ready to return to the Champions League.The 23-year-old helped Nuno Espirito Santo’s team win the 2024–25 Premier League with six goals and eleven assists.The only new player Newcastle has paid for this summer is Antonio Cordero, an 18-year-old Spanish winger who joined on a free transfer from Malaga.Elanga, who joined Forest at the age of 12, made 55 appearances at Old Trafford before relocating to the City Ground. It is estimated that Forest paid £15 million to sign him from Manchester United on a five-year contract in 2023.
