Newly promoted officers are cautioned by Kebbi CP about corruption and lack of discipline.

Bello Sani, the Commissioner of Police for Kebbi State, has encouraged recently promoted officers to view their promotion as a call to greater responsibility. He has reminded them to stay disciplined, professional, and dedicated to their work while avoiding unethical behavior and corruption.

At the State Police Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi, Sani delivered the charge on Thursday. The command honored 37 officers with the title of Deputy Superintendent of Police, or DSP. The ceremony was conducted on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.

The promotion process, according to the commissioner, was a component of the Nigeria Police Force’s continuous endeavors to recognize commitment and improve operational capability throughout all of its units.
