Mrs. Ekaette Akpabio, the chairman of Godswill Akpabio FC, has praised the players’ commitment to the 2025–2026 Nigeria National League, or NNL.
In the NNL Conference B, the Uyo-based team was able to avoid relegation.
With 24 points from 18 games, they ended the season in seventh place. According to Mrs. Akpabio, the players shown perseverance, selflessness, and faith throughout the campaign.
She also conveyed the club’s resolve to develop a team with bravery and intelligence.
In her season-ending speech, Mrs. Akpabio said, “Our ambition remains clear. We are committed to building a football club that competes with courage, intelligence, and unity while establishing a culture that prioritizes excellence both on and off the pitch.”

We are dedicated to creating a culture that values greatness on and off the field while constructing a football team that competes with bravery, intelligence, and unity.
