Kada Warriors head coach, Danlami Kwasau Umar has said that with focus from his players the team can avoid relegation in the Nigeria National League (NNL).
The Kaduna club occupy fifth position in the NNL Group D table with 12 points, two points above the relegation zone.
Kada Warriors will trade tackles with Yobe Desert Stars in their next league game.
Umar stated that they will battle fiercely to reach their goal.
Umar told the club’s media, “We need to concentrate on the game and take it one step at a time.”
“Following our triumph over Sporting Supreme, we shift our focus to the upcoming match against Yobe Desert Stars and proceed from there.”
Umar stated that the team can achieve greater things with the quality of the newly recruited players.
“I don’t have much time to change the starting eleven, but I can see the quality the boys are showing. Most on the players that were recruited came in on merit,” he added.
“They are eager to play, and they demonstrated this on the pitch.”
