As the season’s final round of matches approaches, the Nigeria National League (NNL) has reiterated its board’s dedication to upholding its integrity.
The league body stressed that only the teams most worthy of advancement will move on to the Super Eight playoff in their bid for promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
NNL chairman George Aluo declared that the body is focused on aligning its operations with international best practices and will not be swayed by external pressures or influences.
We have maintained a high level of integrity since we came on board, and we are very determined to reposition the league, which is very evident in the performance of the teams we promoted last season to the NPFL,” Aluo declared to NNL media.
“We would continue to do our best to ensure that same is replicated this season.”
Four teams will gain promotion to the NPFL from the 2025 Super Eight playoff tournament.
