John Obi Mikel, a former captain of the Super Eagles, has criticized Arsenal players for missing this weekend’s Premier League match against Bournemouth.
During the match at Emirates Stadium, the former Chelsea player maintained that the Gunners players were dodging the ball.
Remember that the visitors defeated the Premier League leaders thanks to goals from Eli Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott.
Obi Mikel stated on the Obi One podcast, “He (Arteta) talked about the fans, bring your dinner, bring your lunch, and bring everything and come to the game, and the fans did.”
“But the f**king Arsenal players are the ones who don’t show up.
“It seems like everything is going wrong. Because of the pressure, the players began to hide from the ball.
After playing Sporting CP in the second leg of their Champions League quarterfinal on Wednesday, Arsenal will play Manchester City in the Premier League the following weekend.
