On Thursday, October 30, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, the chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, will give the keynote lecture at the Haulage and Logistics Magazine Annual Conference and Exhibition (HAULMACE), which will take place in Lagos. The seminar is themed, “Tax Reforms from Policy to Practice: Challenges and Opportunities for the Nigerian Haulage Industry,” and focus on translating Nigeria’s new tax reforms into concrete advantages for the haulage and logistics sectorOyedele is a Professor of Practice at Babcock University and a trained accountant and economist. In order to engage stakeholders prior to the new tax rules going into effect in January 2026, he will be the main speaker at the event.
