Rabiu Kwankwaso, the National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, has outlined the measures the party must take to win the 2027 presidential election.
Kwankwaso revealed that NNPP members must be united and collaborate for the party to win elections in 2027.
He spoke at an interactive session with NNPP stakeholders in Cross River State on Tuesday.
NNPP members met to strategize about how to emerge victorious in the 2027 elections.
However, the former governor of Kano State expressed confidence in the party’s leadership.
“Let me thank you for what you did during the last election in 2023,” Kwankwaso said. I implore you to put in more effort so that, with God’s grace, the NNPP will win elections in Nigeria and Cross River. Maintain party unity, particularly now that we have a large new office in Calabar and numerous local government districts throughout Cross River State.
According to some rumors, Kwankwaso might join the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2027.
According to reports, during the 2027 presidential election, the former presidential candidate might collaborate with President Bola Tinubu.
Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the Kano House of Representatives and a close ally of Kwankwaso, commented on this by raising the prospect of a defection prior to the elections.
Jibrin revealed that Kwankwaso’s potential transfer to the APC is still open.
