After Kelechi Iheanacho scored the game-winning goal in Wednesday night’s pivotal victory against Motherwell, Celtic captain Callum McGregor lavished the striker with praise.
In stoppage time, Martin O’Neill’s team scored from the penalty spot after coming off the bench to help the Hoops win 3-2.
The Nigerian international scored a game-winning goal as a substitute for the Hoops for the third time this season.
Iheanacho scored his seventh goal for Celtic in all competitions.
The striker was commended by McGregor for intervening to take the vital penalty.
“He’s a big player with a huge personality who comes through for us in crucial situations. We now have control over it,” McGregor stated to Celtic TV.
