Following Hellas Verona’s 1-0 loss to AC Milan, Gift Orban apologized for his violent incident with a fan.
Bystanders used cell phones to record the incident, which happened outside the Stadio Bentegodi.
After the game, a fan asked Orban to sign an autograph, but he declined, clearly upset.
Another supporter expressed his annoyance by hitting the striker’s car.
After Orban exited his car, there was a heated argument that turned into a physical altercation.
The 23-year-old has since apologized on Instagram Stories.
The Nigerian international wrote, “I want to sincerely apologize to all the fans for my behavior.”
