Red-hot Monegasque Valentin Vacherot defeated Cameron Norrie in the Paris Masters on Thursday, failing to build on his thrilling victory over Carlos Alcaraz. Vacherot defeated British No. 2 Norrie 7-6 (7-4) 6-4 to increase his winning streak to 10 games in the Masters 1000. After defeating his cousin Arthur Rinderknech in the Shanghai Masters final earlier this month, the 26-year-old easily defeated Jiri Lehecka and won his rematch with Rinderknech on Wednesday.Vacherot defeated Norrie, who had just defeated world No. 1 Alcaraz 4-6 6-3 6-4, to extend his winning run.
