The 24th Annual International Conference of the Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria (CRMI), which is set for August 28–29, 2025, in Lagos, would be chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
The two-day conference, which has as its theme “Global Risks, Local Solutions,” will bring together senior policymakers, regulators, business executives, and risk experts to discuss the most important issues facing the globe today, ranging from financial instability and climate change to artificial intelligence and public health hazards.
Additionally, this conference is Mr. Kevin Ugwuoke’s first significant appearance as the President and Chairman of CRMI’s Governing Council.”This year’s conference is more than just an event; it is a strategic gathering,” Ugwuoke stated, adding that we will look at topics including investor protection, climate and food security, domestic risk mapping, and AI-driven disruptions. Nigeria needs to be ready to deal with a world that is changing quickly.
