The October Shooting Stars Player of the Month award went to Tijani Kabir of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). This season, Kabir has been a pillar at the center of the Shooting Stars’ midfield. Throughout the month, the 23-year-old assisted Nurudeen Aweroro’s team in recording two victories, one tie, and one loss. In 11 appearances for the Ibadan club this season, he has recorded two assists. In the meantime, October’s Goal of the Month honor went to Ayodele Ismail. Ismail won the award for his last-minute goal against Plateau United in a match on matchday seven.
