The Nigeria National League (NNL) team, the Ranchers Bees, has announced Patrick Bassey as its new head coach. At a brief ceremony held at their headquarters, the Kaduna-based club introduced the new tactician. Basseye stated that he is confident he will contribute to the team’s success in the upcoming season. Following his unveiling event, the former Nigeria U-15 (Future Eagles) coach said, “They have a goal to get the team promoted to the Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL). That is what we are working towards.” “To demonstrate that this club is here to stay and will bring glory once more, we want to bring joy back to Kaduna and the Ranchers Bees supporters.” Among the fierce opponents the Ranchers Bees will face in Conference D of the 2025–2026 NNL season are Gombe United, Yobe Desert Stars, and Kebbi United. On Saturday, November 8, the new NNL season is set to start.
