Roy Keane, the former captain of Manchester United, stated on the most recent episode of The Overlap that Arsenal is a better all-around team than Liverpool and that the Gunners’ clever defense will give them an advantage in the title race. The Gunners are currently three points ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League table, and after a 2-1 loss to United at home, Liverpool is now four points behind the leaders. According to Keane, the biggest issue is defensively; going forward, there is still a goal threat, they have quality, but defensively… Wesaid at the beginning of the season going back to the Community Shield they were giving chances away but were still scoring. They are still losing a ton of opportunities and goals now that that has dried up. That’s the main problem. Arsenal are attacking and defending as a team, whereas Liverpool are disjointed.”
