Kennedy Boboye has been named Bendel Insurance’s new technical adviser, according to the Daily Post. Greg Ikhenoba, who was fired by the Benin Arsenals two weeks ago due to subpar play, is replaced by Boboye. The 51-year-old and the former President Federation Cup winners have reached an agreement to sign a two-year contract. On Tuesday, the club will reveal the former Nigerian international. Boboye most recently managed Akwa United of the Nigeria National League (NNL). Ikorodu City defeated Bendel Insurance 1-0 on Sunday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos.
