Kennedy Boboye is close to accepting the position of technical adviser at Bayelsa, a team in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). The 51-year-old strategist has reportedly agreed to take Monday Odigie’s place after he resigned from the position last week, according to reports. Odigie left Bayelsa United after their last five games saw a string of In 2024–25, Boboye was Akwa United’s manager. In the 2017 and 2019 seasons, he won the NPFL championship with both Plateau United and Akwa United. In addition, Boboye has managed the Sunshine Stars, Abia Warriors, Heartland, and Remo Stars.
