Following a close victory over Katsina United, Ashifat Suleiman, the temporary coach of Kwara United, has set his sights on winning the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League, or NPFL, championship. At the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin on Sunday, Kwara United defeated Katsina United 1-0 thanks to a long-range goal from Ibrahim Yahaya.
