Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, plans to give his team a “juicy bonus” if they defeat Arsenal in the Champions League.
Last week, Los Blancos suffered a 3-0 defeat in the first leg of their quarterfinal matchup.
They now have an uphill battle ahead of them in Wednesday night’s return leg at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Perez has now taken over in an attempt to boost the team’s spirits.
Perez reportedly went to the Real Madrid locker room at Mendizorroza following their close 1-0 La Liga victory over Alaves, according to SPORT.
Kylian Mbappe and the other players are thought to have heard him speak openly, promising them a “juicy” financial incentive if they advanced to the semi-finals.
According to reports, Perez said, “The club will reward you if you win and make it to the semi-finals.”
