Following a string of subpar performances, Plateau United supporters have demanded that Oluwasola Adegun, their technical adviser, be fired. During their matchday 19 match against Abia Warriors in Jos on Sunday, the Peace Boys supporters carried signs that read, “The coach must go.” The Umuahia-based team defeated Plateau United 1-0 in the match. Under the direction of the young strategist, Plateau United has won six games, drawn one, and lost twelve. With 19 points, they were in 19th place at the end of the first stanza. In the meanwhile, the supporters demanded better player welfare. It is anticipated that Plateau United would perform better when they play Abia Warriors in the second session.
