Taraba: APC leaders caution against attempting to reverse the results of the ruling party’s primary

Stakeholders in the Taraba State North Senatorial District, including the All Progressives Congress (APC), have cautioned against attempting to reverse the outcome of the senatorial primary.

The warning was issued in a press release on Monday by Abubakar Umar Ibrahim and Bilal Galadima, two members of the ruling party.

Remember that on May 19, 2026, the APC held its primary.

As Kabir Bello and Senator Isa Lau claimed victory, the primary results were met with dispute.

The official senatorial poll winner has not yet been announced by the APC national body, nevertheless.

However, Ibrahim and Galadima expressed a new concern to party leaders, demanding that the ruling party honor popular will and announce the real winner.

We have learned that some members of the party are allegedly planning covert actions to sabotage and reverse the legitimate results of the Taraba North primary.

They proclaimed, “Any attempt to change, manipulate, or subvert this duly declared mandate will not only violate party rules but will also erode public confidence in our democratic process.”
