Terrorism: Nnamdi Kanu says, “God in heaven is God of justice,” as he launches his defense

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, made a striking declaration upon his arrival at the Abuja Federal High Court to begin his terrorism trial defense, stating that “God in heaven is a God of Justice.”
Addressing the issue of his trial and the presence of legal practitioners, Kanu questioned:
“You are here you don’t know what law is, you don’t know what Justice is. You don’t know that God is a God of Justice, you don’t know that? You don’t know that God in heaven is a God of Justice, you don’t know that?”
His appearance was marked by a dramatic shift in his defense strategy, as he had disengaged his lawyers last week and stated his intention to personally conduct his defense before the Justice James Omotosho-led court. Kanu was expected to begin presenting his defense and naming key witnesses on Monday.
