A recent article asserting the sale of slots for the state’s ongoing recruitment of 771 health workers has been refuted by the Abia State Civil Service Commission.
Additionally, it urged anyone with credible information regarding such a violation or attempted deception of the Commission to report it right away so that it can be thoroughly investigated and dealt with.
Her office “implemented a robust recruitment process that ensures transparency, fairness, and meritocracy at every stage,” according to a statement signed by Abia State Civil Service Commission Chairman Eno Jerry Eze.
Eze explained that the formula was to make sure that only the best and most qualified candidates were chosen for viable positions. He claimed that applications, computer-based tests, cognitive behavioral therapy, and interview processes were created to remove biases.
She went on to say that the official recruitment portal would publish the final results of the hiring process along with the status of the candidates’ documentation.
The Abia State healthcare system attracted applications from outside the State and Nigeria, including Zambia and South Africa, according to Governor Alex Otti’s assurance last week that the hiring procedures were solely based on merit, as BASEMEDIA remembers.
